line-x

Can you line-x a chrome bumper? Any negatives about doing this? What about doing it to the wheel wells? Let me know your opinions and pros and cons about doing this. Thanks.

Some people have it done...My opinion, it looks cool, however, in the long run, it will prolly start to chip off and stuff. It might be a good idea on the wheel wells, never heard of anyone doing this though. Just make sure to strip the chrome off before spraying it! Good luck!

yes, you can line-x just about anything. theres another thread floating around here that shows pics of entire vehicles being line-xd that actually look really good. but for pics of just the bumper line-xd check out syberkriminal. hes done it, as well as a few others.

doing the chome bumper is smart b/c you don't have to worry about it getting chipped or anything like that. but just be sure you get the xtra, or else it'll fade and look fugly. and as far as doing the wheel wells....well, i dont really see a point in that

Here's a pic of mine. So far the line X seems to be sticking pretty good.
