Exactly. Pop the hood, take two bolts out for the hood release and then remove six nuts that hold the grille to the hood. Install bug shield. Put the grille and hood release back on. (two optional screws for each end if one so desires to put them in - I did.) Easy cheesy!

Haven't really had a chance to give it a good try. I wanted it "just in case" something flew up from vehicles in front of me, not really for the bugs. Bugs wipe off but stone chips not so much.

As far as the bug deflecter goes it does work for bugs but debris seems to hit just after the shield.
Dunno take it for what it's worth if the deflector wasn't there the debris would hit b-4 the deflector I guess?

Appreciate the compliment Mongo! It's worth it to me to just have it there just in case something flies up. If it destroys the shield, no biggie. Just so long as it doesn't jack up my hood.
