AVS Bugflector II on 06 Tundra

Easy install (behind the grill) and great product. I'm happy with it.

Gotta tell ya Rkt That is a great camera and one clean mo fo truck.

As far as the bug deflecter goes it does work for bugs but debris seems to hit just after the shield.

Dunno take it for what it's worth if the deflector wasn't there the debris would hit b-4 the deflector I guess?

Exactly. Pop the hood, take two bolts out for the hood release and then remove six nuts that hold the grille to the hood. Install bug shield. Put the grille and hood release back on. (two optional screws for each end if one so desires to put them in - I did.) Easy cheesy!

Haven't really had a chance to give it a good try. I wanted it "just in case" something flew up from vehicles in front of me, not really for the bugs. Bugs wipe off but stone chips not so much.

Appreciate the compliment Mongo! It's worth it to me to just have it there just in case something flies up. If it destroys the shield, no biggie. Just so long as it doesn't jack up my hood.

Yeah, it's kinda cool. During the day it's a nice bright, vibrant red and then as the sun goes down it gets to be a deep maroon. I like it.
