New Husky Floor Liners

Just got a new set of Husky floor liners today. Bought them from AutoAnything and shipped in two days.

Nice product and love the way they cover the entire floor.

I also had my front windows tinted today. I didn't do it for looks necessarily - I was more concerned about the UV protection for the interior. It is 50/20 tint which is legal in VA. I've had darker tint before on other vehicles only to end up getting pulled over and removing the tint.

This might have convinced me to go with Husky. It looks like they provide more protection around the pedal area than the Weathertech. (Anybody know if this is true on the 2nd gen Tundra as well?)

Any problems with closing doors and the like? Does the 1st gen Tundra have a retaining clip in front of the seats and if so does the Husky have a hole for it?

For both front liners and the rear liner it was 140 and change (shipped). Well worth the money, IMO.

I almost purchased the Weathertech but it just didn't make sense to me to have a floor liner that let the spill run out the side of the cab. True, you can make a case and say that the spill will run out the side but if I spill something I want it to be contained.

No problems with any of the 4 doors closing or the seats moving forward/back. And the coverage over the area where you rest your brake foot is fantastic as you can see by the pics. 1st gen Tundra does have the retaining clip but why in the world would you ever use it with this type of product - would totally defeat the purpose of the liner. (Not being a smart@ss just saying...) The Husky liner does not have a hole for the clip.

I guess the hole might actually provide a way for the nastiness trapped in the liner to get to the carpet. The clip is great for keeping standard sized floormats in place but that doesn't look to be an issue with these.
