Need some advice

I just purchased a 2009 Tundra (DC) TRD Rock Warrior. I beleive its a base model with upgraded suspension, wheels and rearend (w/tow package). In hindsight I wish I would have just purchased the limited.

I want to basically add all the limited options, i.e., JBL Audio, Navigation, DVD, rear cam. but dealer has doubts that can all me done. ???

I'm already having the dealer install Leather in the truck (that was part of the deal).

Can anyone offer some advice here?

Thanks
Semper Fi
Keith

Check if the truck is prewired for the back up camera. I don't know why, but I read that Nav system and oem back up camera dont mix. Check this ebay auction and they have the picture of a prewired truck. I also saw someone selling a factory JBL 6cd changer. so it can be upgrade. If your truck is prewired TRDsparks have the backup camera and monitor.

since you already bought the regular radio, why buy the one that comes with the Limited, just get a good one aftermarket. If your prewired for the backup cam, i think your good to go with a nav and cam, i know some dudes on here have done that. I did the back up cam, but didnt want the indash nav. You have plenty of options, anything you would have paid for in a limited you can better in aftermarket products.

Thanks...I'm going to run out and check to see if it's prewired. It wouldn't make sense to me that the truck center ceiling console seems to be equipped for it, but not hard wired...but you never know.

As far as the NAV - well, it seems like the NAV toyota has is a pretty good system, plus I think it looks pretty tight in the dash. However, the wife isn't going to buy off that kind of an expense, an already expensive truck.

Thanks,
Keith

I'll check again tomorrow morning - I was out there with a flashlight, so I want to be sure.

there are two wires that go nowhere, with dust caps on em. the one on the passenger side is your cam wire

Your truck is wired for camera. You don't have a grade truck. You have an sr5 with rw option. You are ahead of the game not getting the limited unless you wanted all of those options. You are better off going aftermarket or trd for the things you want.
Go price out the crewmax, subtract your truck cost and tell the wife the difference is your spending limit

VB, thanks but how do you know I have the SR5 w/RW option? I agree the Crewmax with the limited (only way to get it I beleive) is a bit insane. Thank you for all your help!!
