I'm determined to purchase one. Just have found the last minute motivation to do it.
I know I'll do it as soon as I find one of those out of the way lakes that I can camp at without having a to pay or have massive amounts of neighbors. Last place I found like that was ok, but it was definitely made for your standard ground tent. I couldn't pull my truck off the road and then there was some dumb kid speeding down the mountain in his daddy's Suburban in the middle of the night. I wouldn't want to risk sleeping in the truck tent and have that jackarse slamming into me and da wifey.
FYI: That's where my signature photos were taken.

I tend to buy a lot of stuff off Amazon.com and get it relatively cheap compared to other retailers. Shipping usually turns out to be free also (depending on what items were purchased).

I love the truck tent. It is easy to get up once you get used to it. The only thing that makes it difficult is the wind. It usually takes me about 5-10 minutes to put up. With a strong wind, it took me over an hour. I recommend it to all. Just make sure to get the strap protectors with it, that way the plactic on the straps don't rub on your paint.

Very cool. Could someone post a pic of what these tents look like broken down and in their carry-bag? I want to get an idea as to how much room they take when traveling. Great pics CJ$

Honestly I think it's smaller than our regular tent rolled up. Now I just need to make sure the air mattress fits between the wells, if not I'll be picking up one of those custom ones.
