I have had a few people ask me about my bedliner. I have a Turboliner that my Toyota dealer installed for me at no extra cost. I have had my truck for almost a year and I haven't had a problem with the liner, it seems to hold up really well. Here are a few pics, I have only hosed it out since I have had the truck, I have never really "washed" it.

Yea, it is a spray on. The brand is Turboliner. Before I bought my truck someone had thrown a rock to try to break out the back window. When I was making the deal they told me that they would pop out the dent and put in a bedliner. Well they tried giving me a drop in bedliner and I wasn't having that. I told them they had one of two choices, either pop the dent out and give me a spray on bedliner, or pop the dent out and repaint the bed. The finance guy got mad at me and told me they had to sand the bed down anyways, and I told him that he had one of two choices or I would walk. I got the spray on bedliner...that's the story.

Well I asked the manager for a Rhino liner, and he said "No problem! We'll get ya fixed up!" So I left my truck and when I picked it up it had this turboliner in it. I was like, "What the hell?" Never heard of it and I was pretty mad about it, cuz that wasn't what I asked for. Anyways, it turns out it's a really nice liner so far and I love it.

TC - I've got the same liner in mine (it originally came from the same dealer). It's ok, but I'm not super impressed. At first glance, it looks pretty good. But I've noticed a few "thin" spots in the installation - especially on the tailgate. the cover for access to the latch/camera has some corners that are barely sprayed, etc. I also notice they actually took your tie-down hooks off (or masked them) - mine were sprayed right over, so when I put in the swing-case I plan to install, I'm gonna have to cut the liner around the hook to remove it, and then patch the bedliner under where the hook was.
In the main bed, it has stood up to things like plywood/lumber ok, but this past week I've been hauling steel (tube steel, pipe, and plate) around for a project at Crossfit Fort Vancouver. There are noticeable wear spots and scrapes in the liner from doing this - more so than I ever had with the Line-X liners I've had in all of my company trucks (which saw a LOT more abuse).
I'm not going to really complain, as the fact I have the liner at all is a major bonus over buying a truck with a drop-in or none at all. But when this one wears out or starts to show metal through it (which I expect to be sooner than later, as I really will be using this truck to haul stuff - that's why I bought it), I'm gonna be asking the question of the Line-X guys if it can be applied directly over the old stuff...or if I'm gonna have to have the WHOLE THING re-sanded/prepped (which I'm sure won't be cheap).

Sorry to hear that LC, when I got the turboliner I looked it over real good and I didn't notice any spots that were thinner than the rest. It was pretty even and they took all my hooks and everything off. I thought they did a really good job. Keep me posted on how it turns out if you ever get a different liner.

That's what I was thinking cuz mine is good. I have even put those flat slate rocks to use for a walkway. I wasn't necessarily easy on the liner with the rocks and it held up great! No scratches or anything.

Why does everyone hate on drop in liners? I have been using them for years without a single complaint. I never have "thin spots" or have to worry about scratching or damaging the liner.
I would think thin spots would be an installation issue, not necessarily the product
Definitely an install issue - but it was in the truck when I bought it, so I really can't complain since the truck was used. I'm curious what product it actually is - but not enough to actually bother researching. I'll use it and abuse it, and if I ever think it's beyond it's useable life, then I'll look at having it redone. What is that saying about a gift horse? Shoot - this truck had $8k worth of "options" and upgrades that I'd never have been able to afford if I'd bought the truck off the lot new...or never would have thought to put on it until after I joined places like this and IBTO and discovered all the other stuff I can do to them.

You may want to find out about a touchup. Say the product was not installed right. I'd expect to pay but if they can touchup, second coat it, you may find yourself off cheap.
Yeah - I should do that. Looks like they are based out of Kellog, ID. They've got a dealer in Beaverton (35 mi away)...and one in Yakima and one in Issaquah. Maybe I'll give their Beaverton guy a call just to see. It is a polyurea liner...so maybe they just were being rushed on mine.
