Ebay Black Head Lights

Found out today that my oven is too small (top and bottom) for the black head light mod. Anyway, I just might buy some ones that are already black off of ebay. What do you guys think of any of these? Good deals or know somewhere else. Syber and Mickey are the only ones I know of that have them.

eBay Motors: 07-08 Toyota Tundra LED Halo Black Projector Headlights (item 130299139125 end time Apr-16-09 09:35:16 PDT)

eBay Motors: 2007-2008 TOYOTA TUNDRA LED PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS BLACK (item 300306697652 end time Apr-15-09 22:51:31 PDT)

eBay Motors: 07-08 TOYOTA TUNDRA PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS BLK CCFL HALO (item 350178851130 end time Apr-14-09 19:51:50 PDT)

eBay Motors: HID 07 08 09 TUNDRA BLACK HALO LED PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS (item 170317970529 end time May-03-09 16:25:27 PDT)

I thought HID's didn't work with projectors. One of them is selling them together.

Thanks for your advice.

I agree. I wish someone would sell just that. Probably not profitable enough for the time.

In hindsight, I wish I would of just did the black headlight mod, then added HID's. I like the lights and all but I can't add HID bulbs to them. Also, just within the past week, the halo stopped working. I checked the wires to see if they bulb was getting power, and it wasn't. There are these little black boxes that split the wires. Before it hits that box, there's power. After the box and before the bulb, no power. I wonder what those little boxes are of if they're replaceable. Or I wonder if I can just tap into the other LED's to get power to the Halo.

Oh and of your options up there, 1,2 and 4 are the same lights so just get the cheapest one you can find. 3 is a little different. Someone here has those, just don't know who. I know on my lights (1,2 and 4), the housing came with a sticker that said "NO HID BULBS". I guess they get too hot for the housing.

Thanks Syber. The line-x looks awesome. I'm still undecided. I might buy some or just put the stockers back in. I'm blacking out my grill (white tundra). Will see how it looks. If it's bad, I'm ordering a white one from sparks.

No problem. I love the lights I have but like I said, they're starting to give me issues. Just don't sell ur stock lights so quickly like I did in case you change your mind.

You painting your grille surround? Good luck. Make sure you sand VERY well and cover the entire piece with primer before applying the base coat.

Stay with stock for sure and mod them. But if ya can wait on Longo Toyota, they will be bringing some lights to the table before long. Just hang in there.

Unless you absolutely love the look of these lights, I would just stick with the stock assemblies and buy HID's. Again, that's JMO.

I think stock with HID's may be the best way to go.

Check them out at:

'07-'08 Toyota Tundra ORACLE Halo Kit

They will black them out too for you. That is for sure an option. I am running 6000K HID's in my headlights and foglights too.

They're an hour from my house. Should I bring my truck to them and have them do it.

Absolutely! and post pics so I can see how it looks. And personally I like the look of the OEM with the BHLM better than any after market light I have seen so far.
