XM radio

I jsut got a 2008 and it has no xm or sirus radio has anybody put it in their truck? if so can you tellme what I need to get to do it thanks

You can purchase a remote unit that plugs into the little auxiliary plug on the dash or you can junk the stock radio and install an aftermarket unit with satellite built in. The aftermarket is your best bet for quality sound. I've had both and I can tell you this, the remote unit sound quality is crap compared to the aftermarket.

If it helps i totally agree with DEZ...I got rid of the stock head unit the first week...

I had the dealer install mine. They had it install at a shop which connected it to my factory radio. I have no issues with it.

what kind of head unit can you use to cover that masive hole that will be in the dash after you take out the stock radio?

Where ever you take it to have the new unit installed will provide (at a cost) a new radio bezel. I know that Metra makes one and I payed $25 for mine. Just make sure they use one with a piano gloss black finish to match the rest of the dash.
