I need some help deciding on speakers

(non JBL truck) Well I am trying to get new speakers. I have a Pioneer FH-P8000BT aftermarket stereo and I want to upgrade my speakers. I do not want to spend a lot of money on this, trying to keep the total cost below $200. I want to get something decent and cheap if possible

The truth is that I have never installed speakers or any audio components. So I was trying to order from Crutchfield to get the installation guides and all the specific parts required for installation.

I was looking at the Alpine SPS-17C2 speakers which have great reviews and good price.
Alpine SPS-17C2 6-1/2" 2-way car speakers For 6-1/2" and 6-3/4" openings at Crutchfield.com
I was thinking on getting 6 1/2" speakers for all 4 doors. Now it says that these speakers won't fit in the rear doors (was told the same on the phone). This sucks

The guy recommended me the Blaupunkt GTc652 speakers, but I am not too sure about going with this brand (it has some bad reviews)

2 questions
1) what should I do? any recommendations

2) is there a way to install tweeters in my (non JBL) tundra

thx folks

Speakers

Good! So am I. There are factory speaker locations on either end of the dash. I am not sure what size, though (3.5" I think). I think even the center dash speaker is 3.5 inches as well. I only know this because of some of the posts here and on other forums. But Alpine and Blaupunkt are good choices. I am a Pioneer fan myself. The only thing I can tell you is to listen. Check out your local car stereo stores and listen for yourself. Anyone can tell you that x brand is the best, according to THEIR tastes. Find out what YOU like and what you can afford. Sometimes upgrading the speakers and retaining your factory head unit is plenty. Higher-end speakers are recommended to be amplified (components especially). Some of my many recommendations that are well-priced include Pioneer, Infinity, Polk Audio, Kenwood, and MTX just to name a few. I have a set of Polk Audio MOMO components and Coaxials that I will be installing in my Reg. Cab. I have no stock rear speaker locations so I will incorporate them into my sub enclosure which will house MTX Thunder 8500 10" subs. I have yet to decide on amplifiers. Good luck!

ok if you want tweeters mount them on the dash where those sorry ass 3.5'' in speakers are. theres an adapter that lets you mount tweeters up there and that kit comes with an adapter for converting the 6x9 hole into a 6 1/2'' hole find the adapter kit on ebay 17$

and as for speakers crutchfield has a deal going on right now buy one set of polk audio speakers get the second set 1/2 price and more info pm me
