Very nice indeed!

First post here....I currently have an 02 Dbl Cab 4x4 TRD Taco, we have a 4 year old and 3 months ago had twins ....so now I have to get a bigger truck and I really..really like the cap on your CM. I plan on getting a CM myself since I will have 3 car seats across the back and the more room the better.

Trying to sell off the Taco then I will be dealing on CM.

So what kind of prices are you looking at? Please keep this post updated as the weather changes "rain" and such and let us know your pro/cons on the cap. I plan on getting a cap as well as soon as I get my CM. Did you have a spray liner or bed liner?? Would you before the cap??

I paid $2024 for the cap installed.
Took a hose to it today to see how weather tight it is - the only water that got in came through the tailgate - I don't think I can do any thing about that, short of trying to attach something to block the spaces between the tailgate and the body.

I forgot to say that the truck came with a bedliner.

See this tailgate gasket. There are also other brands available.

I like it, looks good. Pretty clean looking and matches the truck.

***The tailgate seal will definetly help.

Thanks!
The cap dealer said the Leer is nice too, but I had an ARE cap on my last truck and liked it, so I went with them again.

I just received mine today, the one I linked to. It is a good product, but...due to the Tundra design you can't seal the top 2 or 3 inches on the sides. I ran my seal up to the rubber bumpers on the side jams, just above the side latch brackets. Check it out, the gap above the brackets is too wide to seal. Still glad I got it.

That looks very clean and smooth. I like it a lot. Do the caps come off easily if you need to haul something taller than the cap?

I wouldn't say that its real easy to take the cap off. There are 4 clamps holding it on - which would be easy enough to undo. The electrical connectors probably come apart, but I haven't checked them out that closely.
The part that seems like it might cause a problem is the stick on gasket material between the truck and the cap. I would think that it would not stand up if the cap were removed frequently.
