Post Your Dash Kit Pics!!!
I want to buy a dash kit but the only pics I can find are of Carbon Fiber and Wood grain... If you have a dash kit post some pics!!! I will post them once i put mine on.

The more I look at my stock aluminium colored dash/console pieces, the more I think how easy it would be to paint them some color to look nice.. Gloss black? hammerite textured black?
If the parts aren't too expensive to buy, it might be worth a shot.. just have to make sure your rattlecan-fu is up to par ![]() -Dave |

gloss black to match the stereo would be sick. Someone do it and tell us how. What if I take that dash piece out and take it to Maaco. U think they'd be able to do it???

I'm sure an auto paint place could do it. In the spirit of the forum and general cheap-arsedness, I'd like to see if it can be done yourself, and done well
![]() My only concern is durability- if it's easy to scuff compared to the OEM finish. They sell Krylon 'fusion' paint for plastic too, which might work better. I would rather buy a spare set of plastics and paint those, just in case it all goes south.. -Dave |
