fender flare installation

I am new to the forum, I have an 08 sr5 tundra 4wd........I tried the search function but didnt see much............

Anyway, I currently have a damaged front right fender flare, it is stock toyota. I have a whole kit on the way for spares later if I need them. I bit pricy but all 4 is only twice as much as one.

I was curious if anybody had much experience putting them on? It looks pretty easy just bolts in the fender well.

There is a piece of black trim between the fender itself and the flare.......is that just pressed in or glued? Should I just use the one on there now or use the new one from the kit.

Thank you for any help.

Dave.

Would not call this a peformance mod

...but check out the fender flare install document from TRDSparks.

http://www.trdsparks.com/install/00016-34720inst.pdf

Looks just pressed in/screwed in at some points.
