Removing plastic facia
I'm designing a bull bar with winch into the front bumper of my '08 DC and wondering if anyone has removed this facia cover and what it entails. I plan on retaining the stock bumper and recessing the winch into the middle of the plastic part eliminating the plastic. I'm using 2" sch 40 pipe with 90 degree ells welded into the bull bar config with the winch sitting in the middle and the fairlead roller flush with the front of the bar. I know saomeone has removed this plastic cover and no need reinventing the wheel!!!
