its basically this little black box that allows me to use all the touchscreen features of my navigation system even when the car is moving. it makes GPS think that the car isn't moving, thus unlocking the stupid safety features.

if anyone is interested in it, i can give you more information of how to get it.

the materials for making it cost about $15 total.
if you aren't good with a soldering iron and have no knowledge of circuits and stuff, you can have the inventor make you one and ship it to you for i think somewhere in the range of 50-80$. im not sure what he's charging now. but he has instruction for making it posted on his site free for anyone to do.

Thanks for the pics and info!
Ebay...It hooks up to your tow package lights so they work as if you were towing something. Reverse light wires up to my drivers reverse white bulb. Connect to white wire. To get red and white put in reverse push on brakes.

$699 .. included the AVIC-D3, Ipod Cable and Bluetooth .. but i also ended up needing some extra modules to make my steering wheel controls work and blah blah blah

whenever i make my way into the stereo place, i always manage to spend alot more than i anticipate.
