looks great! i was thinking of doing that when I had my wheels off this weekend, but can't decide on a color. may just be plain and do black to match wheels and truck color.

I likey! Did that on my 5.0 Mustang many, many years ago (half show car/half racer) in purple to match car graphics. Looked good too.
Never thought of doing it on my Tundra... Good idea!

Yes, you want to use caliper paint. It's a high-temp paint that won't bubble or peel when the brakes get hot. You can find it at any auto parts shop.
I prefer the brush-on paints -vs- the spray paint. Easier to be neat...and I don't like to paint the pads. |

Mickey,
I see you have the Borla XS Duals. Is that the one you can get from the Toyota parts dealership. I spoke with them yesterday, and they said they had the TRD and the Borla. The Borla was more expensive. You tubing both I think I like the louder sound of the Borla, but I really like the looks of the TRD. How are you liking the exhaust? |
