Yep....that's the TRD shifter you can buy at the dealer. I went with this one instead (Hurst T-handle) but I like the TRD also.

I am just used to this shifter and have had it in most of my cars/drag cars. I have the same shifter in this car.

Does the shifter extend up into the oem knob or is the knob that long? I would like to go with a shorter knob mainly because I keep hitting it with my coffee mug when I go to set it in the cup holder.

Did your T-handle shorten the overall height?

The shifter does extend into the OEM knob a bit. The T-handle I have did make it a bit shorther in overall length.

Thanks, I'll check into some knobs. Actually, too, I don't really care for the plastic looking oem POS anyway.

Would you know the thread size?

I don't know the thread size. Most knobs now come with adaptors to pretty much fit any size thread, mine did. My handle cost $35 at Checker/Schucks but it is a true Hurst shifter. There are knock-offs that cost less.

$35's not bad. I just paid $160 for a Voodoo titanium for my s2000. I'm still walking a little puckered though.

LOL, I feel your pain. $200 here since I wanted the 6-speed pattern engraved on the ball.

Oh well, it's only money...
