Running Boards

Hey Guys,

I'm new to the forum.

I'm buying a Tundra CrewMax SR5 5.7L next month, and am looking at either ordering dealer-installed running boards, or looking aftermarket -- both Houston or online retailers.

I was wondering if you all had any suggestions, especially for those who bought their running boards outside of the dealer/Toyota network.

Thanks for your help.

If you are looking for running boards and not nerf bars, I like the Onki boards. I haven't cut loose with the money to install them on mine yet but I am going to. There is a Tundra in my home town with them installed and they look great! They are really nice boards and heavy duty. Installed here they are $400. Here is their link. There are some photos of them installed on the site.

Welcome to Onki Corp!

I got my running boards pre-installed from the dealership. They are convenient for the passengers, but I wish I had got the nurf bars. The runningboards are too mini-vanish, but they are more foot freandly especially if there ant lady's getting in. I don't know if mygirlfriends heels would like the nerf as much as the runningboards

those look nice. I like all of the chrome. It keeps the truck look, but it looks like you have plenty of room to step down.
