sequoia grille shell on a tundra (no pics)

so i just purchased a tundra crew max and i hate chrome. while comparing the sequoia grille shell to the tundra and cross referencing other components to see if they are a match im ordering one. i like the way the sequoia grille doesnt have the rubber pad on top and flows better with the hood lines. the sr5 model sequoia comes painted and my dealer is selling it to me 10% over cost @ $167.58 since my wife is a tmmi employee. looks like its on back order for quite some time though... same goes for the door handles...for under $95 i have ordered all new painted handles. im thinking of ordering the painted mirrors but they are about $150 ea.

the sides of the sequoia grille surround are a different size than the tundra, be sure it fits before you buy it.

Yep, you'll have to do some fairly significant trimming to fit the Sequoia grill on a Tundra. It's been done before, but too much work for my taste. I decided to just buy a painted Tundra grill and call it a day. All it took was $180 and less than 15min to do the swap.
