Tool Box?
Hey you guys with tool boxes, what brand or dimensions of boxes are you putting in your double cab beds? The best source for boxes around me is the local Tractor Supply Company store. They have a bunch on their website but most of them say they will fit most full sized trucks except for Toyota Tundras. Can some one give me some help? I want to stay under $300. Thanks.

I bought mine from Tractor Supply. Since I have a cap on my Tundra, the tool box is the chest kind that sits on the floor. Since it is on the floor, it will fit almost any size truck.
If you want the kind that sits on top of the bed rails, ask your Tractor Supply if they would be kind enough to sit the box on your truck to see if it fits. |

Thanks. After some more research online, I didn't realize that Lowes and Home Depot carried so many of them as well. Home Depot has Tradesmans and Lowes has Kobalts. I kind of like the look of the Kobalt Full Size Truck Box that is more of a chest type instead of over the rail. They don't have the dimensions on their site though so I don't know if it will fit or not. Gonna have to stop at their store and see.

I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but I'm already considering adding another one on the passenger side to hold my trauma kit and some other emergency supplies. |

I have a Delta Champion aluminum tool box. It's similar to BLKLIZARD's 1 box in size.I didn't know it at the time but I would have preferred to have the tool box with the handles mounted on the box ends - facing the side of the truck instead of them facing the rear of the truck. It makes it so much easier to reach on the sides vs the latter. But, I'm getting use to it.
