Undercover Tonneau Cover - Questions

Any one that has one of these ever use it with tailgate down?

I like the Fiberglass ARE covers, but my last one on my F150 was too heavy. I want something light. I like the laserlite, but I do not have deck rails and will not be paying an extra $200 for a set.

I am looking at the undercover. The color looks fine. But I often like to run out to home depot and buy lumber. If I do this, can run with the tailgate down and still use this cover. This was never a problem with the ARE.

I am worried that it is so light that it might be effected by the wind.

Thanks.

Jeff

I have the soft cover Extang Black Max and yes I go to He Home Depot and Lowes on a constant basis with tailgate down utilizing straps of course to hold wood. I like the easyness of rolling up the cover and doing what I want. I have no one to help remove a cover so it was a matter of convienence.
