Question Fire & Ice LED bar

Hi all, i have the LED bar on the back of the truck. all of the functions work except for the reverse white lights shining while in reverse.

i have tried both wires that go into the tail lights reverse light and it still doesnt work. is there a different wire i should be attaching this to so it works?

thx

I'll take a look in the morning what color wire you should hook up to. Mine works perfectly.

If the attached doesn't help then post back and I'll crawl under the truck and unwrap the insulation tape to find out what color wire I hooked up the reverse wire to . . .

Same problem, diffrent brand of light bar... Hooked mine up to the trailer hitch plug and only red LEDs work...???

Has a seperate white wire for the reverse lights. Does this need to be connected? If so, i would assume it needs to be hooked up the the reverse lights? If not where? Instructions were crap so i'm not sure.

Can anyone help?????

Thanks

Hawaii, did you get your bar from streetbeat, I got mine today and the instructions were shit, I have to wait until the temp get up above 60 to install. Mine too has the white wire and there is no mention of where they want me to stick it. I down loaded the schmetic and will read it find out where i need to place the wire. Also where did you place your bar, I thought i was getting a recon bar but dont think so. the streetbeat website show it as a recon bar.

Got mine from JC Whitney for like 50 bucks... installed in the space between the bottom of the tailgate and the bumper. looks real cool lit up! but same thing... Has a loose white wire, but they don't tell you where to put it...
One would assume you hook it up to the reverse light wire but, according to george that don't work! WTF? Wanna make sure where it goes before i start cutting factory wires.

Some body help... Please...

Hawaii,

I just read the wiring and if you have the large trailer harness you will connect the white wire to the center terminal pin that is no 7 and from what i read that should be the back up light. The best way to test it is to place your truck in reverse engine off, and take a test light and see if it lights up.

Probably better if I take one at night. But this shows how visible they are in the day. I was on my own and limited to what I could show. The turn signals are orange - UNLESS you put the hazards on, when they automatically turn read and flash from the center outwards. I had the hazards on here.

Hawaii,

I hooked up my light bar today and yes if you tap into the large pigtale for the extra tow light setup it will be the gray wire in the middle. Just attach the white wire to that one and they will work. One pict of my truck after I have debadged it, I am leaving the SR5 on the truck at my 7 yr old request.
