I am new to this forum (coming from a Honda Accord forum, so I know the big rule: research before you ask ) and I am looking for some help with the whole Headlight Adjust that the 2010 and new models have.
I really want to retrofit the headlights (my Accord was retrofitted and it's hard to come back to halogen). I would like to get a new set of headlights so when I hit a speed bump and if I completely mess up, I can still drive the truck. Most of the replacement headlights say without level adjust. Now for the big question: If I get a non-level adjust headlight, cut the reflector bowl the way I'd like to fit in the projector, can I put that reflector into my current headlights and keep that adjust function or do I need to find headlights with that function first and do the entire project from there? I've looked in a lot of places and I can't find much information about this...if someone would be as kind as to point me to the right direction before I burn a hole through my wallet, I'd greatly appreciate it...
If it helps at all...I have a 2011 Silver CM Platinum 4x4 and I want to put FX-R projectors in. I am confident I can get the project done just fine...I just can't promise myself I can sit down in one sitting and do the WHOLE thing and (keyword: and) NOT mess anything up. The new headlights would be more expensive, I know, but safer for me
Thank you in advanced! If I get enough help to go through with this, I'll be sure to make a sweet write up for anyone else
