I went to the dealership for service this week and asked how much to install power folding mirrors... a staggering... $2300. Holy Crap you have GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!

So then told me there was cheaper options out there, but any work to re-wire would invalidate my warranty. So, I guess I'll have to wait out the 36k/3yr before I look at this again.

I don't think a mirror re-wire would blow your motor or anything....do it!

I was wondering if anyone has wired power folding tow mirrors to the 07-09 trucks. I know Theyre different plugs, but would cutting the plugs coming from the switch and putting the '11+ plug on those wires work? Ive wanted to do that for a while. But wasnt sure if it would work.

I have an '08 Limited and mine has puddle lamps...maybe the puddle lamps weren't offered in '07 at all

My question is will the power fording tow mirrors be a direct plug 'n play on a limited with the power folding mirrors?

Unless theyve made mirrors compatible, the plugs for the folding tow mirrors are different than thr 07-09. I too have an 08 limited. Andwanted the tow mirrors.

Looks like I'll be doing some custom wiring. I WILL make it work on way or another.

Hahaha. I would try a junk yard in your spare time. I'm not sure but rock auto has tons of items for most vehicles. May find some luck there.

I've got the 2013 Limited with the folding mirrors. Does anyone know if these mirrors have the heating element built in and if so, is there a way to wire it up ?
