Sorry of this has been posted before but didn't find it doing a search so decided I'd ask. Anyone have or have an idea about this chrome delete bumper wraps? Stubbled across them while doing a search and wanted to see if anyone has any ideas about them or opinions as well.
I want to get rid of the chrome on both front and rear bumpers of my 2015 CM. I could get them painted or even plasti-dip but seeing if this is a good alternative as well. Say's you would need to cut a bit for that correct fit.
I wrapped all four of my bumper ends, and paid less than half what those cost. I still have enough to attempt to wrap to the chrome on my grill too. Check out metrorestyling.com and fellers.com
Bumper cap wraps from TCT is literally 3M vinyl... cut into squares 30"x23" (2) and 36"x15" (2). This comes out to a total of 17.08 sqft. Cost on the TCT site is $100 for front and back + $15 shipping (did a quote on my own to return, cost $8 to ship to me).
You can buy 20sqft on Amazon for the EXACT SAME 3M vinyl vinyl for $42.99 right now, or spend $95 for 50sqft with free shipping from Amazon and have plenty extra to get a good fit if you're a novice and still have more to wrap other parts of your truck.
To return, they want me to ship back on my dime (after gouging the shipping cost) and take a 10% "restocking fee" (whatever it means to "restock 4 pieces of vinyl).
Long story short, save your money and don't waste your time with TCT Wraps.
You guys who used metrorestyling.com, what type did you buy for your MGM's. I'm gonna take a shot at it. Any advice?
