Are you talking about the rubber grommet that originally came with the kit? Is it attached to the the wiring of the bulbs? If so you really don't have a place for it because on the tundra's headlight, it's out in the open. Your able to access the bulbs without having to screw a cover off. It's not like the VW's or Audi's or some cars that have the cap on the housings. Just cut it off or leave it.

Actually the rubber gromet fits into the bottom peice of the clear lamp cover (that most of you probably snapped in half and threw away ) then fits nicely into the the gooves on the back of the head light! Its like a double moisture seal!!

I thought the plastic was just to protect for shipment. The headlights didn't have the bottom plastic piece. They were taped in place. The fogs had both top and bottom, I threw that away. All had the rubber grommet. I drove it last night... WOW

where did you find your hid lights? and how much? I am just looking for the hi and low beams.

A truck that breaths much better thanks to keith at BAMuffler. I beat this truck to death and it still gets me home.... most of the time. All in all, for how hard I am on everything, this truck has redeemed its self.
