Headlight bulb, non led, recommendation.

What are people using for headlight bulbs that are bright and give good distance, non led. I want to wait til led technology for replacement bulbs gets better.

I tried the Silverstar Ultras. Maybe a touch brighter, but not much. With the short bulb life and higher cost, the difference in light isn't enough to recommend them.

I had the regular Silverstars and they didn't last long either.

I tried those Ultras in my 2005 Tundra.
They were too blue and only lasted 6-9 months.

When I swapped my 2014 stock headlights for TRD Pro headlights, I put in regular SilverStar bulbs.
I got a whiter light than the yellow OEM.
Been about 18 months and still going strong.

I have no interest in retro fit anything for my headlights.
From reading on the forum, most are more trouble than they are worth.

Regular SilverStars are what I will be using as long as I have this truck..

I have the Sylvania Silverstar ZXE in my 2016 Tundra, More white and brighter than stock. Have had them in almost a year and still going strong.
