Installed a set of Baja Designs Squadron sports (wide cornering lenses) with the tundra bracket kit. The install was pretty simple and took about 15 min. These little lights have amazing output. I was debating between the sports (1800lumens) and the pros (4900lumens). Im glad I went with the sports because they are plenty bright and the peripheral illumination is awesome.
How much did those run you they look sharp! Also i know its a pain but could you take a measurement from the ground to the fender on the front of your truck just want to see where your at height wise. Thanks in advance!
Thanks... The shop said they balanced fine. As far as ride quality, they are definitely stiffer then stock but I wouldnt call it rough. I would say it feels solid.
Ok back to the Bajas, are these plug and play with OEM harness and I assume they are street legal? Including the pros? That a huge difference in lumens! Thanks for sharing as these by far are the best looking fog retros in my opinion. Good job brother they look awesome.
Yes, plug and play. Baja sells a Tundra kit that includes brackets and plug and play harnesses. As far as street legal I wouldn't know (but im thinking off-road only). They are very bright and I only have the sports. I will say that after a few nights of driving with them on I havent been flashed yet. The peripheral illumination is just awesome. I could probably drive with just the fogs and no headlights and be fine.
I plan on ordering a set for my truck soon. Wide Cornering too. I like the fact that if you don't like the wide cornering, you can change out the lenses to the other options they sell whenever you want! Have you looked into the amber lenses that you can change out with the clears? Just wondering how hard that would be once they are installed?

I am not a fan of the amber lenses although it does look pretty simple to change them out. The install and uninstall of the fogs is cake. I can remove both fogs in about 5 min. Remove the fender lining, unplug the fog, remove the retaining clip, push the housing forward...done.
Had a major monkey wrench this past weekend trying to install BD fogsin the '16 Pro.
Do i need the plastic bezels that screw to the lights to properly install them?
My wife got me the BD kit for christmas off amazon. Naturally it must of been an older one without the spacer bezels. Lights would not line up no how with factory bumper bezels.
I have the Squadron Sports in my Expedition One bumpers, both front & back. I would say they are too bright to run with oncoming traffic...even in the wide cornering configuration.
I did switch out the front lenses to the combo setup, until I get a light bar for spot lighting. It is a brilliant option to be able to simply swap lenses.
Here are some pics of Dims, Dims plus BD combo, brights (no BD). I have since done the anytime fog light mod, but don't notice a big difference...I need to upgrade my headlights.
EDIT: turns out I have the Pros in front & Sports out back...the fronts are obviously brighter.
