Auto Window Switches & Auto Headlights?

I just bought an '07 SR5 and was wondering if the window switches could be replaced w/ auto roll up/down switches? Also, can auto headlights be added? just wondering...

I like what your thinking 4 way auto windows! As far as auto headlights I think it has them already or do you want them to come on when its dark?

My bad, I was looking for lights that came on automatically at dark and shut off when the vehicle was turned off.

They automatically turn off when you turn the car off and hit the lock button.

Start calling junk yards and check ebay for a switch to auto on it or hit the dealer and buy one retail. the "auto" functionality is in the switch.

auto window swtiches seem to hard to locate. Any ideas?

I've been thinking about the auto windows as well. I know that Lexus has auto windows up and down. Still checking into this and you may want to contact the dealer...I think they have microswitches for the window so the window switch knows when the window is full open or closed. Either that, or they are timed for the length of the window. Otherwise, the switch may just stay closed until you blow a fuse.

a different route to go would be with an aftermarket alarm that has window roll up functions. I know when I added window modules to the Viper791 on my last truck, it gave me the auto roll up/down function.

The auto up is indeed in the switch module. (All the switches on the panel are on a circuit board together). There is a relay on that circuit board that controls the auto function. Maybe try getting one from a sequoia?

Also, you could go the aftermarket route. I bought a one touch module for my 05 Tundra DC, works great and is simple to install. It is a model Crime Stopper CS-5502.

Sorry but you guys got me confused. The Tundra's headlights are not automatic? By automatic I mean they come when dark, by themselves, and go off when it is daylight or the vehicle is shut off. In my current truck the switch stays on "auto" and I do nothing else. Everything is automatic. Can someone clarify?

They are not all that way. It's an option package and/or standard on the Limited.
