Brought the truck in for some warranty stuff to be corrected today, and asked for a price on automatic lights (as I loved them on my 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix), and they told me $670 Parts and Labour. Granted this is in Canada, but I guess I'll have to get used to turning the lever...

his is what your looking for:
Amazon.com: Directed Electronics 545T Nite-Lite System (D): Automotive

I bought one for mine.. It a kit made by DEI same as Viper alarms. It's been in my garage for weeks now. I will try to put it on this week end if I can stay home. It looks easy and it's what your looking for, photo eye for day and night, also it can trun on your lights if you when you turn on your wipers. Thats an option to wire up. Also can work with your alarm if you have one.

Found the one touch window switches...they have a "load sensor" to determine when the window is all the way up or down.

The Hoffman Group - Autoloc - One Touch Up And Down Window Unit

Problem is; you have to buy a unit for each window at $40 ea.

It's in a limited. But only the driver's window. They should have all but at least pass window.

Yep, I have the limited and it has the auto down on the driver's door. My girly has a Lexus and it is pretty sweet to roll the windows up and down with one flick on all windows.

I miss the auto up/down function of the windows that my pathfinder (Wife's ride now) has. My previous 3 vehicles had the auto headlights that came on at dark. I think that all vehicles should have this, as there are some people (careless) out there that can't turn their lights on when it gets dark.

Sr5's have auto down on drivers window only also. The truck has auto headlights you can just leave them on all the time and they'll turn off by themselves.

If that is so then just buy 3 new switches and replace the others then you will have auto on all windows. I know it has to be more than that.

I would guarantee that Automatic headlights and automatic windows are not standard on every ford, dodge, and chevy.

They are both options that can be selected individually and come in some packages.

I wish they had auto up and down like my Benz why can't Toyota and the rest of the manufacturers get it together and offer the German style switches.

German, exactly TOPSECRETTSI. My last two VW's had this. Auto down on all windows, and auto up. They have load sensors for sure as the windows have pinch protection in case some 3 year old has their neck in there.

The headlights for the Tundra do go off automatically when you leave them on and they come back on when you start the truck the next time you get in. That's pretty close to automatic...it only takes .5 seconds to flick the switch...or else just leave it on all the time.
