Lets see your leather!!

My new truck will have a tan interior. I'm adding the upgraded leather seats, just not sure what will look good. Post up the leather interiors to help me get some ideas.

Thanks!

It's not tan, but I did this myself earlier this year. Katzkins premium, black with silver double contrast stitching and perforated inserts. Also added the heaters while I was in there.

Hope that helps

I had leather added to my 2014 SR5 and they gave me this..
It matched nothing.
Salesman said that was the color assigned from the VIN number.

After a meeting with the dealership GM, and telling him I didn't give a fu(k about his VIN number matching, they swapped it to this.

In hindsight, I should have done what @Jumbo Jet did.
Order the leather and do it myself..

I am right there with you. I love the Rawlings leather. And I have a thing for baseball glove wallets too.

It would have been a nice touch if they used Baseball Stitching on the seats!

Where did you put the seat heater switches? How hard was the install?

I have not hooked up the seat heaters yet. We had a very mild winter last year, so I never rushed to determine where I wanted the switches mounted. The wires are there and ready to go, I just need to figure out where to mount the switches.

The install was actually pretty simple. The first seat was the hardest. I spent about 3 hours on the first seat, then about 40 minutes on the second seat. Once I saw how things are held together, and where the hog rings go, I flew through the rest of the seats. I had a small Katzkins warranty defect, so I had to replace the rear upper back rests. It only took me an hour, and that included taking the seats out, swapping the leather and reinstalling the seat. Super easy once you do it. You'll only need hog ring pliers and auto upholstery hog rings. I spent $25 total on both.

thanks, from what I've read the rear seats are easier, and the two front (especially the driver) are the hard ones. I'm about to order a set to do leather and seat warmers. I think I'm going to put the switch on the center console. I'm going to pull it apart anyway to install USB chargers.

I also want to get a leather cover made for the center console, I'd like everything to match.

The leather console is on my list as well. Let me know if you get it done first.

Talked to an installer today, getting the standard Katzkin covers installed for $995, and another $125 for him to sew/fabricate a console cover.
