A "G" note to install the Katskin covers !!!! YIKES!!! Heck man. I'll fly down there and do that for half that price if you feed me and let me stay for a a couple days. WOW! and you have to buy the complete set PLUS pay another $125 for the console cover. An SR5 is looking better and better everyday.

1000 for the covers AND installation.

125 for the material, fabrication, AND installation of the console cover.

Cheapest I can find the covers is $$750-800 shipped. $200 for labor is fair, considering this is all he does all day, and I've never done it.

In hindsight, I should have done what @Jumbo Jet did.
Order the leather and do it myself..

That first set not only didn't match, but looked like shit too. Wrinkly and loose.

On the first set, the dealership service ripped off my stock cloth covers and installed leather.
I asked for my cloth covers back (since I did pay for them) but they said they destroyed them removing them.

After going back and forth for a couple months over the leather color, they ended up swapping the seats out with another truck that had dark factory leather.

I should have went after them for the cloth covers, it would have been nice to have them as a back up.
But I was tired of dealing with them.

Didn't think about until several weeks later, but they kept my stock mudflaps when they installed my fender flares.
Would have been nice to have or sell them as well.

For you guys who went the Katskinz route, is the outer portion of the covers a softer vinyl and the front middle inserts that are actual leather? I'm looking at some Roadwire brand covers and thats what they look to be. I thought I had talked to someone who told me this is pretty standard for "leather" seats, even from the factory?

Not sure , but I think every section is leather. They can put different colors in different sections. I also think you can do a cloth in area last with leather in others.

On my Katzkin, the parts that your legs, butt and back hit are leather, and the sides, backs, and headrests are vinyl. Color wise you can't tell them apart, I can only tell by feel.

Katzkin does sell a 100% leather kit, but they're pricey.

I am in the same boat. Just bought a Crewmax TRD XP and negotiated leather into the deal. My initial thoughts were to go black but there is a lot of dark beige color on the door post and headliner.

What do y'all think?

Black leather would look great but it's also hotter in the summer and since you have a beige interior it can support beige so I'd just stick with that.

Had similar seats, with black carpet and tan headliner. Went with solid tan seats. Came out great.

Are your seats an exact match to the headliner?

My headliner looks much more brown than your seats. I went ahead and ordered black today for install on Monday. Hope I don't regret the decision.

Black will look nice. Don't worry about them being hot in the summer. I'm in Florida and my black Katskins are just fine in the summer. My front windows are not tinted either, and they are fine. I keep my reflective sun screen up whenever I park, but the seats never get hot like I thought they would when I ordered black.

By the way, my Katskins are real leather where ever your body touches. The back and sides are vinyl. That's pretty standard.
