There are some DC that cost more than the CM but if you want that sexy look then get the DC if you are a family man and have lots of kids get the CM. It's your choice.

Best of both worlds!

Too Me!
I went for the DC.
Decent back seat.
I have sat in the back seat.
Had an '02 AC and have had to sit in the penalty box.
Decent size bed.
I fill once or twice a week.
I'm very happy with it.
But to be fair I never considered or looked at a CM.

I have a doublecab and there's plenty of room. I was looking for a Crewmax at first but after I sat in the back of the DC at the dealer it changed my mind. Not to mention that I can put the ATV in the back while I pull the trailer with the DC.

I went to the dealer looking to buy a crewmax but decided the bed needed to be 6.5' long to fit all my gear. I sat in the back seat of a dc with the front seat all the way back to make sure I fit ok (6') and it's plenty roomy not a limo but a lot bigger than dodge or chevy. 1 week after buying my truck I made a 1.5hr drive with a friend thats 6.5' and his chick thats 6.1' and they thought it was plenty comfortable a lot rommier than his extended cab super duty ford. Now saying all that if they do come out with a cm with a 6.5' bed I possibly would consider trading.

How is that? They're built on the same frame. The DC has a foot more box and a foot less cab, give or take.

So you mean width and not length then. Yeah this should be exactly the same as well, unless you have tow mirrors sticking out or something..... Have a look at the specs on Toyota's site, identical.

X2. The white is sexyyyy!! Fits in my garage and hauls the entire family plus friends. I opted for the bench front seat and it was the right decision for my situation. Tons of room. I always ask people that ride in the back if they have enough room and if they don't, I can move my seat up and they usually just laugh.

Alright, when I first ordered my Double Cab a week went by and my fleet sales buddy called me and said " there's a Crew Max comming out a couple of months after the release of the Double Cab". I said, Oh I gotta have that one then. When he called me and told me it was there I left work early to go pick it up. I was a little taken back when I walked up to it and saw the actual size of the bed. I then said to him, back to the Double Cab! I ride offroad motos just about every weekend and need all the room back there I can get. The CM is for sure a sweet Tundra but I just need the room in the bed. I looked at the 8' bed and holly crap that thing looked long! Too long. Oh ya and if you bust out the back window in the CM it will probably be pretty expensive. If you bust one of the three out in the DC I'm sure it will be a little less expensive. Just saying. No offence O.C!
