Interior question

Im wanting to buy a 08 DC 4x4 and im wondering what grade do you have to get to get radio stereo wheel controls, on board mileage calculator? I was hoping a Tundra grade or maybe a SR5, I dont want a fully loaded truck. I have had them in the past and thats just more that can go wrong.

I'm sure you can add those options to either version. When I was looking for my truck, an SR5 I test drove had a moon roof, wheel controls, upgraded stereo and both front seats had power. The SR5 I ended up getting didn't have any of that except power for the driver seat. So you can add what you like I would assume.

I believe the onboard calculator is standard, except maybe on the Tundra grade. The next step up is the Multi-information display, lets you change your options, door locking, light timers, ect.

I think you have to get the upgraded JBL stereo to get the wheel controls. I thought the mileage calc was standard, my SR5 has it. Every SR5 that I looked at had the mileage calc. I don't have the JBL system so I have no wheel controls.

Some of those controls are a pain in my backside. I constantly hit the phone button when I make a turn. It gets annoying.
