I think I am gona get the Mirror with homelink and the compass so I can take out my garage door opener and then free up the first spot, Then put in the backup camera with the little monitor in the first one.

It's not bad at all. I don't rely on the backup camera when I'm in reverse, only when I need to get really close to something. It's a wide angle lens, so it's a little tricky to guage exactly how close things are on the sides of the truck. But when backing your bumper up as close to something as possible, it's great.

Yea like I will be backing up into a spot and with the tailgate and at night cant see if there is something like a metal and concrete 3 foot tall poll behind me.

Its more of a aid for backing up than something to use only to backing up. The one on my dad infiniti M is pretty cool though, its has lines that curve when you turn the wheel to show where the cars gona go.

The ONLY reason I got was because in the past, with the wifes SUV, when hitching up a trailer, I slammed the trailer into the bumper more than a few times. Dont want that to happen to my truck

Yea it is nice for that. When we used to have a waverunner I would be backing up my 4runner and think I was within a few inches, got out and had a foot or two. But in my moms car that has one it is real easy.

Just ordered the mirror from eBay. I will install it next week and let you know if works or not on mine too. I doubt it will

I just realized my compass mirror has a maplight that automatically comes on in the dark. Shows you how often I drive my truck after dark.

I was about to ask where the hell u guys live that carry around guns like nothing. Figured it out. So can you actually carry it around loaded? I'm not sure what the laws are in CA but I think you have to keep the ammo in the trunk if you have the gun in the cab.

Mine is locked and loaded if i have it on me, they show in an attack situation that the time raking the slide an attacker will most likely already attacked you.

In Texas, it's perfectly legal to carry a loaded firearm (handgun or long gun) in your vehicle. You need a license to carry a concealed handgun outside of your vehicle, though (unless you're on your own property).
