Power window switch lights...

Does anyone know what it would take so I can get the switched to be lighted in the Tundra on all the doors...Im not too concerned about the auto down feature I would just like them to be lighted so they can be seen at night time. Will any other switches work from like a 4runner maybe?

As far as I know the only thing available is the "Braille" methode of finding things like the window switches. Don't ask me why, as it seems like a no-brainer that they should be lit.

Man you pay $30,000+ for a new truck and they don't even light the window and door lock switches. Even my 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee's window and door lock switches are lit up the lock switches on the front doors light up, and all of the window switches front and rear light up.

I guess maybe I'll have to learn to find things in the dark again. Damn, and I was just getting the hang of where the stuff was in my Chevy Cobalt, and now I'm getting rid of that POS car. But I think I will be 1,000 times happier with my Tundra even without the lit switches like my jeep, and the 5 speed transmission from the car. I will be keeping my jeep just for offroad use now so that my new truck won't end up dented and dinged up like my Jeep is starting to become. 191,198 miles on my jeep right now and its still going great. Can't say much for my car its been in the shop more than I've driven it.

I haven't seen anything in the way of lighted switches but if I find anything I will post a link.

The way I see it if you guys are driving around at night looking for your window switches please be careful! There are 4 holes, reach down find the one you want and lower your window.

We are... That's why I mentioned we only had the "Braille" methode as an option.

I am use to fingering things in the dark...so I should have no problem with this situation.
Although I don't have a clue why they don't have lighted switches. This seems very old school standard equipment.

Since the auto is lit up I just use it as a guide to find the other switches.
