Angry want to paint or customize interior

I want to paint or maybe get my doors and dash board color changed.
The tri-color does work for me. Silver, tan brown that's awful I don't know what toyota was thinking.

So that's the plan, do any know whether painting would do the trick?
I'm concerned abot peeling.
I know I am going to pay big for a shop to remove and do paint or even suede or leather the doors that's if someone would touch the job.

Any thought's?

New truck would be easier. In my opinion even when the true pros paint door panels and interior parts it looks mediocre at best. But some like it. And you could just get the parts you want re-colored wrapped in leather most likely.

yeah i dont reccomed you paint any of you're interior parts, it will always look like a hack job, and will more then likely flake/chip in the future, your better off just living with it, or getting a truck with the interior colors you dont mind.

DON'T paint or dye the interior, it WILL fade, peel, crack, you name it. Can't stand the temprature changes and sun light.

Go to a quality interior shop and ask about fabric changes, leather packages, etc. they should have some good ideas to get you going.

Interior Change in order

I really have been thinking about doing something about mine. I have black and the undrelying color seems to be some kind of blue. The black seems tobe wearing through already (less than 6 months). I thought about paint cause I am a pretty good hand with a spray gun. But I to was concerned about the look also. I really don't mind the black if it was just good and Black.

i have the same problem - - sucks to see the grey/blue showing through on the lip below the dash "visor". did toyota just spray paint the dash at the factory? even if they did, why would they use such a light core color and, apparently, no primer. given the "thinness" of the paint, there's going to be a lot of crappy looking dashboards soon. i purchased mine in august. ouch.
