Aftermarket Seat Heaters

I would like to add seat heaters to my 07 SR5 Crewmax. I had leather added by the dealer, but did not even think about heated seats until it was too late. Is this something that I could do myself or should I take it to someone? Any suggestions on where to buy the aftermarket heaters?

Are the seats factory recovered in leather? I have rebuilt my fabric seats and they are a pain in the butt. The seat fabric is clipped to the seat cushion. Might make it hard for a do it yourself install.

The seats were cloth from the factory. The dealer did the leather in their own shop.

Hey, I'm new to the site but not new to working on vehicles. I redid the seats in my Celica with Katzkin leather and added seat heaters. I love them and they were fairly easy to install. Not too sure what the factory did with your seats, but I'm sure if you have time, you can do them in a day or a weekend (depending on your mechanical inclination). Don't buy seat heaters from the dealership, you'll only end up paying more than you need to. Try Katzkin.com

Send a message via Yahoo to polcat
I have found a few sites that had what seems to be reasonable pricing.

Seat Heater for Cars and Trucks from AutoWarm.com

Auto Summer, Cooling Seat Cushion, Cool Breeze SummerSeat Seat Cushion
