Drivers seat comfort

I have a Dbl cab limited with leather. And I can't seem to find a comfortable position on the drivers seat. No matter what I do, if I am driving for more than 1 hour it kills my back. Does anyone else have this problem. I have had the truck for 5 months now and still adjust the seat every time I drive it. Any sugestions?

Don't know your particular stature, but I'm 6' and have a lower back that has given me problems ever since I wrecked it in a motorcycle accident 25 years ago.

I've got my seat dialed in with just enough slant, bolster support for my lower back and front leg support that it actually helps my back. And the heated seats are a God send on the cold Utah days we're starting to have.

I think the best advice I can give is not to over-do-it with the controls. A lot of people have the tendency to push the contours of the seat too much, which would give anyone problems.

Sit in your regular driving position, then play with the controls until you get a good combination setting that feels comfortable; which might take you awhile given the number of controls and possible settings. When you hold one of the control levers to the point where you start to feel pressure on any given point on your body, back off and reverse the position a little.

Once you're dialed in, threaten to kill any friend or family member who may have the opportunity to mess with your settings. (I don't know why Toyota didn't add a memory for the seat settings of at least two drivers.)

The leather will also start to loosen up and not feel so stiff with use and a good leather conditioner.

I'll give it a try how long did it take for the leather to break in for you? I think the biggest problem is there are to many controls and I keep over doin it

I find it easiest to move the controls while your driving. If I try and set it up before I leave the drive way, it feels all wrong when you going down the road. maybe you already do this, but just a thought

It's still breaking in, but I can tell it's already softer than when I picked it up from the dealer.

I'm the same way, I"ve had the truck for two months now and I still tend to move something at least once when I get start to get down the road. I have cloth seats (sucks) I'll never order cloth again.
These seats seem like they wont give at all. They need more cushion. I do 10 to 15 hour drives and it will get to you after a couple. I hope they can add some cushion when I get aftermarket leather
