Thumbs down What The Hell ??!!??!!??

Is it just me or does it seem that no matter what touches the dash it leaves a scratch or some sort of mark behind???? Very odd..... For instance, I was at the dealership removing one of their signs they stuck on the inside of the window and my RUBBER watch band drug across the dash board leaving behind a hideous 5" grey stripe !!! The lower door panels look like hell from my feet and all I wear are tennis shoes and slippers!

Most of the "marks" rub off.....but why are they there in the first place??

Another Tundra anomoly I suppose..... I haven't even had the truck a week yet !!??

Yep, same thing here. I used an interior protectant, to see if it helped... Nope! But it was a cleaner/matte finish product, not that shiney stuff we all know about. I get in and out of my truck a lot and my feet leave a lot of marks on the bottom of the door. Probably will have to put on some "contact paper"down there. Jus' kiddn'

You might be on to something Blue, I know they sell a clear film protectant for Sport Bike gas tanks, maybe something like that could work?

I also noticed a dash cover from toyota. They are producing "plug and play" dash covers in several colors. I believe I googled tundra accessories and it gave me a toyota website to purchase these. They were actually pretty cheap- ~$30!

I am thinking seriously about this. Helps with sun fade too.

Yeah I have the black dash also and it drives me crazy that any Little touch it leaves a ashy mark. The radio also attracts a lot of dust, but when it is clean it looks darn good.

I use a small swiffer on my black dash. It really works good, give it a try. You can store it the huge console and use it daily

I've been told in the past that stuff like armour all and proectants like that over tme they dry out the plastic in the dash and become brittle, I also go the swiffer route works excellent!

Hey Flight, would you know if that dash cover fits all Tundra's, DC OR Crew Max?? Shouldn't make a difference, huh?

I bought a dash cover from Dash Designs. It fits all tundras with or w/o nav. However....it didn't really fit ANY Tundra's as the pattern seems to be cut too short on the sides. I'm sending it back today....they are going to check it.

I'll keep you advised.

Aloha

Hawaii, I don't hae any experience in the purchase of one of the dash covers, but I would suggest making contact with the company (link above) and ask.
I was looking strictly for "toys" for my 07 and happened to see them.

Good luck
