Temperature and clock fades in sunlight.

Is there any way to make the temperature and time brighter on the dash panel? It's ok in the dark but as soon as the sunlight hits it....gone!

This may sound stupid, but I sometimes forget to turn my headlights off. When the headlights are on, the interior lights automatically dim and I cannot see the display in the day. When I turn them off they are bright enough for me even in the sunlight....
