2011 CM Sunroof noise - TundraTalk.net

Ok so while driving my truck today with the sunroof open i kept hearing this sound that sounded like a solenoid rining for just a few seconds then it would quit. i stop watched it and it would do it like every 1 1/ minutes. i only hearsd it when the sunroof was open. has anyone else experienced this?

Air deflector ... you were changing speed. It deflects so there is no cavitation in the cab. Search button is your friend b4 asking questions.

The truck is sitting still when it's doing it also. Is it necessary you be so rude because someone asks a question? I'm sure u didn't know everything about the tundra an still don't. Thanks anyways

Take it to the dealership and make them look at it, especially if its doingit when you are parked. The above response is correct.....even if it was a bit harsh.

Searched this post up since I am a newbie CM owner for two weeks.

Riding around with sun roof opened -- I hear it make a noise.

So -- apparently the air deflector changes with truck speed to reduce cavitation inside the cab?

Anyone want to chime in?

I hope this means mine isn't broken -- rather working correctly.
