That really is unbelievable to look at and think about. Haha my 08 has the 4.7l in it as well, so hopefully it will be around for a while!

I was really looking forward to this and now I can't decide if its good that the findings were so...boring!

Well done Toyota, on the build and the continued publicity of the teardown and reporting.

unbelievable. No, really, everything was mostly excellent? That article seems like an ad...I'd like to see the service records posted alongside it.

You wonder why toyota has not ever overcome the corrosion issues with the frame?

"The frame didn’t show any surface rust and the leaf springs were in good shape"

I guess I should have kept my 2007. It had at least 875,000 miles left in it.

most of us wouldnt put a million miles on our trucks in 10 years..... we'd probably just get bored with the truck before it even hits 200k miles.

How the hell does someone put 100,000 miles on a truck every year for 10 years?!

If you do that math that adds up to almost 300 miles a day, every day for 10 years straight...

Well, I'm at 205k and I'll probably keep it until I hit 300k in a couple years. Its nice not to worry about dings, scratches or a couple dirt smudges.

I have 216K on my 2007. Thinking about having the paint on the frontend and hood redone, also have some clearcoat peeling in a few spots on the roof.

300 miles a day at 15 mpg... that is one expensive fuel bill.

Yes I know you don't buy a Tundra for fuel mileage.. just saying.
