Its irritating when you spend $40,000 for a vehicle and the manufacturer can't spend the xtra coin for something like that

I feel the same way about only Limiteds and Plats having the auto headlights.

I have seen several write-ups on how to do this. Anyone done it with success?

I've added the dei module. Done everything under the switch panel. I got power from the original power window supply. So while the module can be triggered via remote, in my case it only works with the key on.

be aware that adding those modules isn't the same as oem one touch where it works normal until you press harder. they are ALWAYS auto up/down and require a second tap to stop the widow mid movement. some like it some don't.

also if the fuse for the module blows for whatever reason your windows won't work.

Indeed not just like factory. If you push and hold instead of tap, the window will stop when you let off the button. Mine has been doing good for a couple years now. I'm jealous my wife's 4Runner had all 4 doors Auto up and down.

Platinum and 1794 editions have that feature.

It's not a big deal to push and hold a switch. I think I'll live and just be thankful I have a nice truck.

Ok makes sense why I have it on my Limited.

Like someone else said, I miss having full auto on all 4 doors like I Did on the 4Runner I traded in on this truck.

That is one thing I do miss, yes I know, first world problems.

If the limited has them, is it possible to switch out the guts of the swtich? I understand that you probably have to do some fit and finish work on the pannel, but does the switch control the auto function or is it something else?
