Firestone airbag install

Finished up the install of the firestone airbags #2445 today. I had to also buy the bracket extenders due to my lift. Ended up going with a "tee" line and fill valve in the gas cap area. Aired them up to 70 and will let sit tonight and see if any leaks. Did the soap test and seemed ok. Really excited to help out with squat when loading up and pulling trailer.

What does the extender bracket do? Is it just extra support from going sideways

U need them if your lifted. The bracket needs to rest on the axle for proper support. I'm lifted 6"

Install looks nice !

Do you actually need extensions with lift blocks or just shackles?
(I would have thought with blocks the distance from frame to leafs would be the same...

I've got +2 CB shackles....from what I've read I don't need the cradles, but if you go to +3 you do.

Every set up is a little different. If u just have coach +2 probably fine with stock pieces in kit.

I wonder how much of a stability difference it makes when you Tee like you did as opposed to having 2 dedicated lines.
I like your fill location. Was it too tight for 2 fill ports or did you like the idea of 1?

I just went with one. There is plenty of room to do two. I've read people saying not to tee and also read people that have no issues with tee. I can always take out tee and do dedicated valve for each if need be. Here is a pic with 2 in cap area

UPDATE!!! Went out and checked pressure today and had dropped from 70 to 60. Did the soap spray again and caught bubbles at one of the fittings at the tee. Tried to push in for better deal but still bubbles. Let all air out. Disconnected fitting..cut again and re inserted. Filled back up did soap test and no bubbles. Should be good now.

Garage
I have the same setup less the extension for the lift. I went with the same union tee as well, and think that is the weak point. I had the same logic, if I end up not liking them plumbed together I will run two lines. It seems to be all about the straight cut on the tubing. If the cut is straight it will hold air well. Mine has been @ 5lbs for about 4 weeks now.
