I anodized my wheels and toyota emblem to match my wheels!! Looks Sick!!

I decided not to paint the headlights and the emblems, but to have them anodized at my buddy's shop. Well they turned out amazing. I cant post a pic yet because it's pooring down rain here hopefully in a day or two. It made it look like a whole new truck in the front.

sounds like it would look sick on a slate truck

might be questionable on other colors

i wasn't a actual acid bath they got, but a solution that is used to give them a thin layer on the crome housing like being anodizing, that makes the chrome on the lenses not so matte and more shinny cromish looking. there for when you add the paint it doesnt adhear to the crome as well allowing the the chrome to show through the paint at certain angles. I should of explained this earlier just didnt really think people would actually think i would dip plastic in some acid. sorry for the confusion hopefully this cleared it up. im gonna try to post pics today so you can see what it looks like

Why don't you anodize your bumper. buy some chrome handles and anodize those as well.

Hell, you could even anodize some nerf bars if you were going to put them on
