New Tundra Commercial

I was innocently watching tv the other day, and out of nowhere I spied a new Tundra ad. I had not seen it before, so, I assume it is new. It is the one where the truck is sitting stopped, then the driver hammers on the gas and speeds towards some closing metal doors, and once through, has to hammer on the brakes before the cliff at the end of this road. It even says "actual demonstration" on the screen. I thought the commercial was cool, so I backed it up and paused it with my pvr, and went and got my daughter to show her. I would have showed my wife, but I knew that "eye rolling" that would ensue (she thinks I'm obsessed with my truck).
Anyone else see this one?

I've seen that one before, don't think it's new.

I think that's actually the first one they made. Then came the big tow up and down the ramps, then pulling the container up the cliff and finally the big swinging beams (gauntlet). Sometime they run clips from all 4 on one spot. Tundra or not, I'm not overly impressed but it is somewhat entertaining.

I remember reading an article about the making of those commercials. I remember the writer saying that the producers got affidavits from a court so that they can prove the validity of the demonstrations. If that's so, the stunt drivers are CRAZY!

True, but see what they don't tell you is that they destroyed 19 Tundras before they got a good take. The Gauntlet was eating them up. JK

Yes it's the first one. Destroyed 19 DC's before they got it right. Hell 1 Crewmax would've been all you need. As seen in the one pulling up the container up the cliff.
