Which intake??
There are a few different intakes on the market now. Any advice on which one performs better and gets better MPG? I have a 2007 Dbl. Cab 5.7 with
3" Toytec lift with 33" tires.

You'll get many opinions on your question , they all work and they all cost quite a bit . I went with the AFE with the DryPro filter for easy cleanning .
If you read all of the info for each company you'll be able to make up your own mind , but I have not noticed any increase of MPG's but there is better throttle response with all of them . When you decide , please let us know . Bill

I went with AFE just like Bill. Also would recommend the TRD which is Toyota's version.

IMO you can't really go wrong as long as you go with one of those well known brands. You could check airaid as well, they have a supporting vendor. You could try to get a deal.
For now I have a K & N air filter. I might be getting an CAI in the future, haven't decided yet.

I went with the K&N 77 series cai. I get 1.5 to 2 more mpg's with it. the only thing I don't like is the whistling when the throttle is at a certain position. It only bothers me on the interstate with the cruise set at about 80. It just hits the sweet spot at that speed to were the whistling is constant. I may switch to the TRD, not sure yet.

K&N sounds amazing .. and i actually like the look of a traditional intake (like the K&N) over some of the others.
I got the 63 series (i think its 63) with the black/plastic tubing .. i really like the look ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
