I get 17.5 going back and forth to work, 8.5 miles and about 10 traffic lights. I just made a couple of trips to the beach with about 40 miles of interstate and got 19. This is in a 2wd crewmax.

When the truck had only 3000 miles on it, I made a trip to the mountains of Tennessee running about 80-85 and got 15.5 with a fully loaded truck. I was disappointed in that since I was getting 16.5 around town. The extra speed killed the mpg. When the truck hit 9000 miles, the motor seemed to "wake up" and the gas mileage increased.

Looks like i need to do some driving! I am at 1000 miles and if i baby it i will get 15. I am getting ready to put on some 305 55 20 Nitto's that are waiting for the front end to get a lift. I know the mileage is going to take a hit. Hopefully since i already have 275 55 20's it will not change too much, but i am expecting the worst.

My guess is a lot of the high MPG reports are 2 wheel drive without the tow package 4:30 rear end.

I have a 4x2 with tow pkg. On a 1,200 mile trip to New Orleans and back doing 85mph I got 16.7mpg at a cost of $300 for gas.

14.5mpg...dropped from 73 mph go 65 and cut off the A/C. I am now at 14.9 avg in two weeks!!!

Slow down and roll the windows down. Yes it is hot and humid here to...put new songs on your IPOD and get over it

That's how I like to drive in the evenings with all 5 windows down and sunroof opened. Best of all Jammin' to the XM or MP3.

I have seen my mpg slowly creeping up over the last couple of months. It started out around 15 (combo highway and city) and now it is pretty solidly around 16.5 with 4500 miles. I hope (and believe) that it will get a little better over the next few months.

I have a crewmax 5.7 4x4. noone should be getting less mileage than me - unless they live on top of a mountain or can't keep their foot out of it.

You guys should start hypermiling..... I guess that its neutral dropping your car when you come to a light and turning your car off when your going down hill. I guess it works because these nerds are saying that they get like 50 miles to a gallon in a regular accord but they're killing there cars and putting them selfs at risk of getting into an accident.

yeah those hypermilers are idiots. driving or should i say rolling down hills with no brakes and steering. Anybody experimented with the traction control or VSC and mileage?

First 4500 computer said 14.6 avg. In the 500 miles since servicing I am getting 15.4
I drive 24 miles roundtrip mix of hwy/city using the cruise control as much as possible. Changed over to Mobil 1 full synthetic. Have noticed that the occasional 100 mile roundtrip fwy drive helps keep the avg up or im sure itd be in the low 14s

Are you going by some computer on board? or actually measuring the gas?

With some hills and some stop and go, I'm 18-19. Never over 55 and use cruise a lot.
