From what I understand, Johnson Controls makes many different battery brands. Including the Everstart. Just curious about what experience other have.
Looks like Johnson Controls makes Interstate Batteries in Mexico.

One of the cheaper prices, 10% off additionally when added to cart but I am not sure about shipping cost.

The dealer replaced the battery in my '07 in '08 due to acid leak(hold down strap over tightened, leaking acid) with their "Truestart" Toyota unit, under warranty; it was still in it when I traded Dec. 21 this year. That's 8 years and we have cold winters in Maine, especially in the north where I travel to go snowmobiling; -25*F overnight is typical

2016 1794 Edition
TRD exhaust( at least temporarily)
Silver Sky
Hope it lasts as long as my '07
No mods; I'm broke

I replace the battery in my 07 after 8 years even though it was still working fine. I figured it was just on borrowed time. I put in an interstate 2 years ago and have replaced it twice under the prorated warranty because of failure.

You might try a battery desulfator. A few chargers have this feature. Works really well to prolong the life of batteries. I use one on my original Toyota battery that is over 7 years old. Still works like new.

I have been using Costco for batteries for a while now. Yesterday my battery crapped out on me yesterday and I went to Costco. They do not sell 27F sized batteries...
Went to the dealer and bought an OEM Toyota battery.

The last one was also a Toyota battery. Installed 10/25/2010 @ 84k miles. I'm currently at 199k miles, so that battery lasted me 116k miles and 6.5 years.

Yes, but it was for the needs of my installed accessories and hate the dimming headlights. I paid to play without stressing out my starter, alternator and ECU.
