Forgot pack the camera in the boat this weekend. Here is a pic from Independence Day 2007 on the lower Colorado River near Yuma, AZ.



This year was pretty crazy. The sandbars and beaches were so packed that peeps were anchoring in the channel and swimming to the sand. It doesn't appear that the high gas prices have slowed anyone down.

Here is one of my girlfriend with a sparkler and one of her friends. I like how the Tundra is in the background. It goes well with the thread.

Fortunately I was in charge of setting off the major fireworks. That was actually where I was when they were playing with there little fireworks. The truck fortunately was un-harmed. Woman take a tole on your truck with....or with out fireworks...sadly.
